In July on Big Island Kahu Serge Kahili King gave a Hawaiian Shaman Practice course with Alakai Susan Pa'iniu Floyd, and a Hawaiian Shaman Intensive course. In August he taught groups from Italy, Russia, and Australia, and published a new book in English, Creating Reality in print and Kindle versions.

From Alakai Susan Pa'iniu Floyd: I'm in Poland getting ready to get on the plane for Moscow and then Siberia, my time difference totally erased by attending a string quartet folk concert in the summer palace of PolandFs last king the first evening I arrived. Then dancing Hula in the park with Malgosia's regular open hula class (see attached picture. She taught 7 new and 2 regular students Ka Wai Lehua) and then giving and receiving lomi before sleep last night. What better way to get ready for this next adventure. Our Kino Mana training will be held on an island in the middle of Lake Baikal, the world's largest fresh water lake and a very powerful place for Siberian shamans.

From Candidate Hildegard Keppels: At 12th June we had an Urban Shaman Course meeting on symbols and rituals. Everybody brought two objects as symbols Ð one for a concrete intention, wish or aim the person wanted to manifest and a second one to strengthen the individual spiritual path.

We discussed the possible meanings of symbols and rituals in Huna in general and prepared a ritual together. - Then we celebrated the ritual, asked Aumakua to support us in our individual purposes and to strengthen our spiritual path. We used sound, Hawaiian music, spoke blessings, used rose water, read out the verses of your song "Life is an Adventure", practiced LaÕakea and sang the principle song. We even had a piece of live guitar music composed and played by a participant. After the ceremony we shared something to eat and drink everybody had brought. This was a very intense and wonderful experience for all of us.

June 26th Ð Huna Circle Meeting
At this meeting there were eight of us Ð six having been together in Vienna at Serge's workshop. The workshop experience has brought us even closer together than before and the work in the group has become more relaxed and natural. We worked on the 7th principle and went through all the principles again discussing our every day work with them. As this was the last meeting before the summer break I asked for feedback and wishes for the future. I only got positive reactions, full of enthusiasm for Huna and appreciation for my work. Sitting there in the circle after having started with it only 9 months ago I was amazed. All aspects that are important to me about how to lead through the meetings: a mixture of some theory, practicing exercises and sharing thoughts and experiences - were regarded as being perfect.

I am grateful that the Huna work here is growing so well. I also experience that growth is not (only) a matter of numbers but of different qualities as wellÉ. There is so much growth in each of us and between us and I am glad to be an active part of this development.

From Angelika Dreisner in Germany: I have two wonderful results to report on the use of Healing Shapes.
1. I got a Reiki session myself from a very experienced and effective lady (2nd Reiki degree). I agreed to have one just for being nice because she wanted to do something good for me. Normally, for me Reiki sessions are very boring and I fall always asleep. So, I decided to be active in the session (she didn't know what I was doing): I visualized a large green circle around both of us and around her hands 2 pyramids. So, I was busy with that and had fun. After the session she said: This was a very extraordinary session with such an intense energy stream in her hands she never experienced before. I only smiled.
2. I did coaching with a Muslim Sudanese student of medicine who was preparing for his examination. I had to be very careful because of his firm belief system, so I decided to speak with him in a very scientific manner. His problem was a lack of concentration, fear of the examination, and lack of motivation for learning. So, I asked him about his preferred colors and which one he was associating with concentration: Yellow (wow, I thought: Now is the moment of power). I reminded him that science found out that one can train body and mind to react on certain settings automatically like the Pavlov dogs. I suggested that he experiment in a scientific manner with the visualization of a yellow pyramid or a circle or other symbols from his culture when he sits down to concentrate on his books. He did so and was able to concentrate and to go ahead with more self-confidence toward his examination. For this result I needed only one intense session.
