From Steffi Doll, who runs the Dynamind Clinic at Bad Krozingen in Germany, does Hawaiian massage, and teaches hula (contact info@huna-zentrum.de):

I had a message from the Spirits to do something new. I want to reach more people with hula but they do not believe in themselves. They say "I cannot do this" and so on. So my and God«s Idea is to connect the Kalana Hula Arm Movements with the Basic Steps from the traditional hula while keeping the respect for hula. It is a kind of fitness training and I call it Hawaiian Dance Revolution. The people are very interested and they love it.

My idea is to bring them with joy and fun to the traditional hula and the Huna Philosophy. We dance to music from Frank Hewett and Keali'i Reichel and other Hawaiian music as well. The focus is to hold the energy of the spirit and the tradition of Hula and to start the inner healing. It's the same as what I do in the water from the Thermal Spa in Bad Krozingen.

Last weekend I tried it with nearly 40 People. They had so much fun, because some of the ladies are not so slim, and they have fear to move the hips when everybody can see it. The movements from the Kalana Hula in the water are very powerful and bring the power from the water directly into the body. It is a great feeling when you make movements related to water in the water.

The luxurious, half-billion dollar liner was built by the Myerwerft, Papenburg, in Germany, and is the largest, most expensive passenger vessel registered in the United States. Commissioned by NCL Corporation, the Pride of Hawaii is expected to bring half a million passengers a year to the Hawaiian Islands.

Alakai Kala Kos will present "The Power of Charisma, How to Become Outrageously Magnetic to Your Ideal Mate," a workshop to be held in beautiful White Rock B.C. Canada on May 6th. To get more information, visit Charisma. "There will be an equal number of single males and females and I promise the day will be both fun and profound," she says.

Alakai Marta Motak of Poland has her own website, Hula.pl, that features information in Polish on Huna, Hula. Lomi, and a beautiful Menehune Lagoon with swimming fish!
