Dominik, Petra, and Noa

Alakai couple Petra Sittel and Dominik Chudzinsky are happily introducing their six-month-old son, Noa, from Germany to the world at large.


Aloha International's hula halau, Halau Hula Na Lei Kupua O Kauai, led by Susan Pa'iniu Floyd and Fern Merle-Jones, did a formal presentation (called a Ho'ike in Hawaiian) at the 32nd Annual Makahiki Festival in November in honor of guest Kumu Kawaikapuokalani Hewett. About 125 people attended the Thanksgiving luau, which also featured other entertainment, a raffle, and Hawaiian games.

Alakai Candidate Mieko Hayashi has formed Aloha International Japan (website homepage2.nifty.com/ai_japan) where she publishes articles in Japanese from the Huna Village Teaching Hut and recruits members for the Aloha Fellowship. She has also organized an "Aloha Attunement" every day at 10 am Japan time which everyone is welcome to join.
